Dr. Marcel Jacobs, PT, DPT, CSCS is a licensed physical therapist and certified strength coach.

Marcel earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, where he completed advanced coursework in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Marcel’s extensive fitness background and exposure to physical therapy at a very young age led him to discover his passion for helping people by using the art and science of physical therapy as a vehicle for optimizing human health and performance. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has completed clinical affiliations in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and acute rehabilitation.

Marcel has a very unique and empathetic treatment approach; one that instills motivation and confidence in his patients. He believes in an active treatment approach, which focuses on optimizing functional movement patterns and empowering patients with the tools required for lasting results and prevention of future injuries. Marcel takes the time to get to know his patients in order to effectively tailor his care for each patient individually.

Marcel’s clinical interests include working with athletes of all ages and levels, pre and post-operative conditions, and musculoskeletal diagnoses. His treatments use a holistic approach, combining elements of advanced manual treatment and therapeutic/corrective exercise to create the best customized plan of care for each patient.
